DW drums are the best drums I have ever played. I am happy to endorse them. They also understand the needs of drummers.
I endorse Aquarian heads. I had an old set of drums from the 70’s and was not happy with their sound. Roy Burns talked me into trying his heads and I was glad I did. Their heads make any brand of drums sound better.
I endorse Vic Firth Sticks. They are the most consistent stick I have ever used. Their quality is excellent.
Currently, I do not endorse any one brand of cymbal. I have played every brand of cymbal at one time or another. They all have strong points especially Zidjian, Sabian, and Istanbul. I have three different brands I currently use in my set up. Lately I have been impressed the most with Paiste which are made in Switzerland and not in Turkey. The brilliance of their sound as well as their management of overtones has caught my ear.
Drummerworld has a huge library of drumming videos. I recommend this site for my students to study a wide variety of drumming styles.
